We think the food here is great. We came from other site’s recommendations and are not disappointed. The staff is friendly. We ordered butter chicken and it’s not just simply sweet as some other places are. The chef here also came to speak and greet with guests personally and surprised us with his hospitality.
Would recommend for other people for Indian food. Also there’s a discount when I came as I booked through TripAdvisor.
We’ve always had such amazing takeaway for here and finally went in for an experience in the restaurant. We had such a lovely time, service was so friendly and we had the pleasure of meeting the chef, Hayat. What a beautiful man! Such a lovely restaurant, best Indian cuisine in Sydney ❤️
I visited this restaurant for the first time. The atmosphere was nice and the staff were friendly. We ordered shrimp curry, green curry, garlic naan, and rice. The food was great. The shrimp curry was especially delicious because it was big, plump, and spicy: )
We ordered take away from this restaurant long time ago, but this was the first time eating here.
The restaurant is formal and looks very traditional.
Everything we ordered was really good and we enjoyed every dish.
There were only two staff members on the floor, a lovely waitress and a waiter. They looked very busy, in fact the service was a bit slow, but we were not in a rush.
At the end of evening, we would have also taken dessert, but nobody came, so we decided not to order it and leave.
Despite this two small details, everything was great and we enjoyed our night. We will come back.
Definitely in my top 3 of favourite Indian restaurants. Loved how the head chef took the time to greet all the diners, great night with amazing food!
Great Indian food! Stuck to the classics and was super happy. The Naan bread is warm and perfect. The butter chicken was just the perfect amount of spicy, rich in flavour and generous amount of chicken. One portion to share was plenty for us. The samosas were crunchy and soft, nothing out of this world, but it was a familiar and welcome flavour. The coconut shrimp I would say was the only downside, just quite dry and lacked flavour. Everything else was wonderful and homely.
Overall, I much preferred eating in than ordering from here. Both are great, but it’s a lovely little place and the service was perfect, so I’ll definitely look to visit more often.
Me and my partner spontaneously walked in and we were blown away by the amazing food and the kind service. We loved everything we ordered, I highly recommend the lamb cutlets and the lamb korma. The Chef Hayat spoiled us with some very tasty dessert and the whole team was so welcoming and made us feel so well taken care of. Can’t recommend enough. Best Indian food in Sydney!!
AMAZING! Never been to a restaurant like this in any price range. First off, the food is traditional authentic Indian, definitely the best I have tried in Sydney but the X-Factor is definitely the service. Chef Hayat and his team went above and beyond to celebrate a birthday. If you’ve never been here, you’re missing out. Thank you for a memorable experience.
